Do you want to start running?

If you are thinking of starting to run in races, I invite you to get to know the dynamics of the training group, where the objective is to take care of our health.

Perhaps you are already a runner and you are looking to improve your physical condition. In which case, I would like to encourage you to come and train in a group.

The driving force of the training group is to carry out appropriate and progressive physical activity to improve your physical condition and to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

My immediate objective will be to accompany you from your starting point, whatever your fitness level. I will lead the training sessions: warm-up, running technique exercises, strength training or circuit training, whatever is appropriate for each session.

We live in Mallorca, a beautiful location to exercise outdoors. We can enjoy the good weather, the incredible landscape and the fabulous natural environment that the island offers us: parks, public estates, coastal paths or we can even enjoy running in Serra Tramuntana (Declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2011).

GIVE IT A TRY!

You can be 30 years old and start studying. You can be 40 and learn to drive. Youcan be 50 and take up running. You can be 60 and sign up for dance classes. It'snever too late or too early to begin. There is no such thing as the perfect age to start a new hobby!

What is the importance of physical exercise?

Talking about our basic needs, the most primitive and elementary way we relate to the environment is through our perception and our mobility.

People receive sensations produced by environmental stimuli and the first response we give to this stimuli is movement.

At the beginning of our development, movements are reflexive, uncoordinated or purposeless, but as we grow older, they become more controlled and efficient, leading to voluntary responses of mobility.

All movement begins with a learning process that is perfected with exercise Mobility influences the psychological development of the individual, and the individual, in turn, brings it under his or her control, using it to serve increasingly higher functions.

Movement and mobility establish a relationship between the organism and its physical and social environment, and through this relationship psychomotor development takes place, which finalises with the control of the body itself until all the possibilities of action and expression are achieved.

Perceptual-motor skills are basic skills on which affective and social development is based and which helps cognitive development.

I encourage you to get started in the running world if you have not already started; training is about developing social and self-care skills.
